Our Philosophy

During Jim Bettendorf ‘s 25 years of caring for seniors and assisting them through transitions into senior housing, he identified a need for a different way of assisting seniors with their lifestyle choices.

Often seniors are on their own to understand the complicated and diverse options available in senior housing and services. Jim saw a need for an advocate to assist seniors and their families on a one-to-one basis through this complicated, life-changing decision.

Jim has spent his entire working life in many different areas of the senior services field starting as a nursing home dishwasher and reaching the executive level of a major, faith-based provider of housing and services. During this time, Jim has help hundreds of seniors successfully make the move to senior housing settings.

By starting Senior Relocation Advisors, Jim returns to his passion of working directly with seniors on a one-to-one basis as a trusted advisor.

Jim believes that caring for our elders is forgotten in much of today’s society. He is committed to ensuring that Senior Relocation Advisors always remembers the reason behind our work.

Our mission

The Senior Relocation Advisors group believes that understanding the complicated nature of family structures, lifestyle desires, and the diverse senior housing products available, along with the essential needs of seniors, brings effective decision making to difficult choices seniors and their loved-ones face in transitioning from one home environment to another.

We are called to serve senior clients by guiding them through lifestyle transitions and to ensure that our experience and compassion positively impacts the quality of life for everyone we serve.
